    Itinerary Details

  • Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
  • Pick up from the airport upon arrival by a professional guide. Transfer to the booked hotel in Arusha for check in. Get a short safari briefing from the tour guide for the safari overview.

    DAY 1

  • Transfer to Tarangire National Park
  • Leave by 7:00 from Arusha while heading to Tarangire famously known for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Arrive by 9:00 in the park and start exploring the wilderness. Pass across Tarangire river to spot giraffes and zebras drinking water. Game view to spot big cats, wildebeests, antelopes and a variety of bird species including the Masai Ostrich (the world’s largest bird). Break for lunch at one of the amazing picnic sites and proceed with game drive till evening. Transfer to the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    DAY 2

  • Game Drive In Tarangire and Transfer To Serengeti National Park
  • Leave at 6:00 am for an early morning drive to explore early killings from the big cats. Return to the camp around 9:30 for breakfast and shower Checkout of the hotel and proceed with the transfer to Serengeti with packed lunch. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

    DAY 3

  • Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti
  • Leave for a day’s game drive in the central Serengeti. Game view to spot big cats, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, elands, antelopes and others. If lucky, you may be able to spot a rhino. Break for lunch and proceed with game drive till late afternoon. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and sleep.

    DAY 4

  • Full Day Game Drive In Ndutu Plains
  • Leave for a full day game drive to witness “The Great Migration” where thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thomson’s gazelles migrate to Maasai Mara in search for fresh pasture and water. Explore the plains while tracking the migration with predators like lions awaiting. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game drive till late afternoon. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    DAY 5

  • Transfer to Ngorongoro Via Olduvai Gorge
  • Leave for Olduvai Gorge, an anthropological site holding remains for the first human. Have lunch enroute and proceed with the drive to Ngorongoro. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to the booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    DAY 6

  • Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
  • Start descending down the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera which is a home to a variety of animals and bird species. Game drive in the crater to spot Big Five, elands, buffalos, jackals and thousands of flamingos. Break for lunch at a picnic site and proceed with game drive till late afternoon. Ascend out of the crater and transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    DAY 7

  • Transfer To Manyara National Park Via Empakai Crater
  • Take a walk along the alkaline lake filled with a large number of flamingos. Break for lunch and drive to Manyara to arrive in the evening. Upon arrival, check in at the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    DAY 8

  • Game Drive In Manyara and Transfer To Arusha
  • Leave for a day’s game drive in the park. Game viewing to spot elephants, famous tree-climbing lions, giraffes, large flocks of flamingos and many other animals. Proceed by visiting Hot Springs to see hot mineral water of over 60 degrees Fahrenheit flowing over the rocks. Break for lunch and advance with an afternoon game drive till late afternoon. Drive back to Arusha to the previous accommodations or a flight back home.

    Right Clothing

    It’s important to pack the right and necessary clothing needed for an African safari. This is due to weather conditions and nature of the trip. Bright colored clothes are strictly prohibited.
